Everyone's Having Babies: Jessica Alba, Tina Fey, Hilary Duff and Kate Hudson Edition
Babies, babies, babies: famous people are having them, and this weekend brought a few high-profile birth announcements as Jessica Alba and Tina Fey both welcomed baby girls.
News of Alba's newest addition -- little Haven Garner Warren -- broke on Facebook, where the Spy Kids 4-D star shared the details with her fans.
"She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long," wrote Alba, who also has a two-year-old daughter, Honor, with husband Cash Warren. "Healthy and happy! Big sister Honor couldn't be more excited about the new addition to our family."
We'll guess the feeling is mutual over at Feyâs household. The 30 Rock star gave birth to her second daughter, Penelope Athena Richmond, Wednesday, People reports. Earlier this year, during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Fey mentioned that she was waiting until her due date to find out her baby's gender. Or, you know, however long it might take for those details to be revealed. "I'm just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom," Fey joked.
In other headlines about celebrities procreating: Kate Hudson shared the first photo of one-month-old son Bingham. The actress' husband, Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy, Tweeted an intimate snapshot of celebu-mother and child, with the title caption: "Family life!" In the image, Hudson looks contented and bathed in sunlight; little Bingham appears to have his finger in his nose (which we'll let pass because he is a baby).
Also, Hilary Duff revealed that she and hockey star/Brick furniture warehouse heir Mike Comrie are months away from Tweeting baby pics of their own. The one-time Lizzie Maguire, 23, announced the news via her official website.
"We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives," wrote Duff.
