Robert Downey Jr. pulling the plug on Iron Man, Michael Douglas & Cameron Douglas jail time, America Ferrera & Wilmer Valderrama with D.C. immigration reform
Robert Downey Jr. might be pulling the plug on his role as Iron Man
Sad news indeed - the best Iron Man possible has just about had enough. After two successful movies and a third sure to be blockbuster smash coming out on May 3, Robert Downey Jr. is seriously thinking about throwing in the towel and moving on to other roles and projects. He said in a recent interview: "How many genre movies can I do? How many follow-ups to a successful follow-up are actually fun?" He's got a point, everything does lose its charm after a while. Like Survivor 135. Or American Idol 60. But not Iron Man! Not yet! Don't leave us!
Michael Douglas' son - Cameron Douglas - gets five more years in jail
It's not a happy day for Papa Douglas as his son - who was originally sentenced to five years in 2010 for drug distribution - just got slapped with an additional five years for drug infractions while in jail, meaning he won't be out till 2018. It seems that other than the judge who did the sentencing, everyone, including the court, sees this as an unusually long sentence. Sounds like sometimes being the kid of someone famous can have its downsides.
America Ferrera and Wilmer Valderrama support immigration reform in D.C.
The two stars headed to Capitol Hill yesterday to be a part of and speak at the "I'm Ready For Immigration Reform" coalition, a coming together of numerous groups demanding immigration reform. Celebs being passionately dedicated to serious issues - now that's refreshing!
