MORNING QUICKIES with Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce
GASP! Kate Middleton is just like us... just a little more royal
Kate has officially solidified herself as the coolest member of the royal family... ever. Not only does she come from humble roots but she hasn't lost sight of who she really is, being just as down to earth today as she was before becoming a duchess.
Proof: When she got a pregnancy craving for spicy Indian curry, she walked (she didn't take a royal carriage!) right on in to a convenience store while visiting her parents in Upper Bucklebury and got herself some yummy curry... which wasn't even for sale. Badass? We think so.
Hash Shingadia, owner of the convenience store, said: "She came in one day and my wife was cooking upstairs. She said it smelled lovely, so we gave her some to take away." BALLER!
Kim Kardashian is starting to freak out about this whole baby thing
In a recent blog post, Kim K revealed she's feeling nervous about her impending due date and we can't really say we blame her. Not only is she going through the ups and downs of pregnancy that all women have to face, she's being watched by the world and pretty much being criticized for everything she does. Then there's the fact that it looks like baby daddy Kanye West may be pulling away from the relationship. (Gasp! Are we actually feeling sorry for Kim?!)
So what did she have to say?
Other than praising her sis and mother of two Kourtney, Kim wrote: "I’m a bit nervous and anxious but also excited knowing that I learned from the very best…Motherhood is a gift and I know after watching my mom do it, it’s not easy especially when trying to balance a career. I’m honored to follow in her footsteps and make her proud like I am of her."
Photogs are none too happy with Bey and her Mrs. Carter World Tour photo ban
We can only guess it was the Super Bowl fiasco - remember all those "unflattering" pics Beyonce and her team didn't want the world to see? - that made this happen, but whatever the reason, we think Bey and her PR reps have taken things a little too far by recently denying all photographers press passes to shoot the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, wanting everyone to solely run pre-authorized pics.
The National Press Photographer's Association is voicing just how pissed off it is - and rightly so - and recently mailed an angry letter to Beyonce's publicists, pointing out how uncool this whole thing is.
Last we checked, Bey was totally fierce and forbidding the media to take photos during her concerts only puts emphasis on her insecurities and does more harm than good - are we the only ones who see that?!
