A nail polish that helps prevent sexual assault? Undercover Colors is working on it!
You're probably wondering how a beauty product as common as nail polish could help stop sexual assault and rape and the simplicity of this invention will likely surprise you.

Created by four engineering students from North Carolina State University, Undercover Colors' unique prevention tool - which is not quite finished yet, but well in the process of being developed - is really easy to use and makes great use of science.

After applying the polish to your nails, you simply have to stir your beverage with one of your fingers and wait to see if the color changes. If it does, throw your drink away because that means date rape drugs such as Rohypnol, Xanax and GHB are present. If it doesn't, keep drinking and partying. It's as easy as it gets.

The project is still pretty young, their Facebook page has only been up since April, and the project still needs help becoming a reality. Be sure to donate to Undercover Colors' research and development efforts if you want to encourage them and their awesome idea. Yeah!
