Starbucks to offer beer and wine in Canada by end of year (cause we're awesome)!
Holy freakin' beloved caffeine gods! Hold on to your macchiatos and Frappuccinos, kids, because Starbucks has just announced its plans to start offering beer and wine in Canadian locations by the end of the year. Why? Because we’re obviously super awesome and deserve it.

Forget heading to your local bar for date night, a study session or post-work drinks, you’ll soon be able to load up on Irish coffees and delicatessen small plates at your nearest ‘Bucks.

Spokesperson Cathy Suppa confirmed the bold move to media and also revealed some more exciting plans that are currently in the works!

First off, the coffee giant is looking to introduce its mobile app, which allows customers to order and pay for their drinks via smartphone, to Canada and… this is the most exciting part... La Boulage bakery,  a San Francisco-based company that Starbucks bought in 2012, will be added to each location by June, offering French-inspired pastries and making all of our dreams come true.

Oh lord, we’re never going to leave our nearest Starbucks. And judging by their coffee and non-alcoholic beverage prices, we’re going to have to get a second job, too.
