'Crying rooms’ are a real thing in this Japanese hotel
Ever wanted to rent a room to cry in private? Head to Tokyo! More specifically, to the Mitsui Garden Yotsuya hotel in the Shinjuku district, which recently launched - wait for it - ‘crying rooms’ specifically geared toward female guests.

Stocked with plenty of tissues, as well as warm eye masks, makeup remover and 12 movies meant to get the tears flowing, these crying rooms strive to help women combat stress, reports The Telegraph.

There is also plenty of tear-jerking manga in stock, just in case watching Forrest Gump or A Tale Of Mari And Three Puppies (about a family of doggies who survived the 2004 Chuetsu earthquake) isn't depressing enough for you.

Sound tempting? All you need is $100 a night and a plane ticket. Or you can get yourself a box of ice cream and let it all out in the comfort of your own home, like the rest of us.
