Caitlyn Jenner wants to shine light on transgender community with new column
Not only will Caitlyn Jenner soon be in our living rooms thanks to her upcoming E! docuseries - I Am Cait premieres at 8 PM ET on July 26th - but she’s also setting out to give the transgender community a voice with a new weekly column titled "The Real Me".

The 65-year-old partnered up with WhoSay to help shine a light on LGBT issues and profile some truly amazing people, explaining that she felt "totally isolated" before revealing her true self to family, friends and the public -- something she wants to change for others.

“Up until now, I have totally isolated myself from the transgender community so I have a lot of catching up to do,” she starts in her first editorial. “I feel such a responsibility to this courageous group to try to get it right and tell all sides of the story.”

“I’ve heard every horror story there is in the book,” continues Jenner. "You wouldn't believe the types of ordeals these people have had, how they have had to literally fight for their own survival... I have so much to discover and hope that you'll join me on this adventure. "
