Jian Ghomeshi was 'punching me in the head... threw me out like trash' alleges witness during trial
Day 1 of the Jian Ghomeshi trial was an intense one, to say the least.

It began with a woman testifying against the former CBC radio host with great (horrific) detail, alleging she was sexually assaulted twice.

"He pulls my head down, and at the same time, he's punching me in the head, multiple times," recounted the woman, as reported by the CBC. "I'm terrified. I don't know why he's doing this, I don't know if he's going to stop. Can I take this pain? And my ears are ringing, and I felt like I was going to faint. I'm going to end up passed out on his floor. And I start to cry."

She went on to recall an encounter at Ghomeshi's home during which "he went from being really nice, to this rage. Dark. After I start crying, Jian says, 'You should go now' or 'You better go now, I'll call you a cab. He didn't apologize, he didn't ask if I was OK. He threw me out like trash."

Ghomeshi's lawyer, Marie Henein, challenged the credibility of the testimony, calling into question many of the facts reported by the witness. Remember, Ghomeshi has plead not guilty to four counts of sexual assault. The trial is being help in front of a judge with no jury.
