Listen to Montreal electronic duo FABRIKATE's Diplo-approved debut album and fall in love

Montreal electronic duo FABRIKATE is proving that yes, Canada does have THE best musicians. Following down the road paved by the likes of Drake, The Weeknd and, of course, Biebs, the electronic duo's debut album, BODIES, is an ahhhhmazing compilation of 10 note-worthy tracks. We're just going to get right to the point and say we're in love. And you will be, too.

"Showcasing the electronic two-piece’s deep-rooted passion for early-era electronic production techniques and modern dance arrangements," BODIES delivers big on nostalia with unique touches, like sounds pulled from '80s action movies, but still manages to be 100% 2016. It's no wonder then that it's already getting major love from electronic heavyweights like Diplo and Don Diablo.

“We didn’t really want to stick to a specific genre of music, what you hear on BODIES just came naturally to us," the duo explained in a news release. "The album has badass ‘80s Miami synthwave elements, analog deep house feels and disco vibes that somehow blend together perfectly."

Just as cool as this quirky mix is the fact that FABRIKATE has gone down a Daft Punk-approved route by covering their faces with minimalist masks and somehow, despite fame (and Instagram) and all that comes with it, they've managed to keep their anonymity. #magic
