Young boy finds crazy surprise inside his Kinder egg - meth!

A young boy recently found meth inside his chocolate Kinder egg. Really.

According to a police report, rather than being surprised with a fun plastic toy, as is the norm, the five-year-old found a very different kind of surprise in his egg: White methamphetamine powder.

The child, who lives in Northern Ireland, was playing with his eight-year-old brother when he opened the yellow plastic shell and found powder packed in a little bag hidden inside.

Luckily, he didn’t open the packaging and didn’t ingest any of the substance, instead handing it over to his dad immediately. His father quickly alerted police to investigate the bizarre matter.

“The contents of the bag, which was found inside a toy egg, is believed to be meth amphetamine. This small quantity of drugs will be disposed of by police," Inspector Colin Shaw said, as reported by PSNI Limavady on Facebook

“This incident is of the uppermost concern for all of us. Tackling the use and supply of illegal drugs is a priority for us and the possibility that something so potentially dangerous has been discarded where children could find it is deeply concerning.”

"I don’t want members of the local community to find drugs on their street, however this incident just reminds us that criminals have no regard whatsoever for the safety of local residents, and I am thankful that this child had the sense to speak to an adult about what he discovered.”

Talk about one hell of a surprise! Kinder Surprise sure wasn't like this when we were kids.
