Glee star Mark Salling pleads not guilty to child pornography charges
Glee star Mark Salling has plead not guilty to child pornography charges, however, he has been ordered to pay $150,000 bail and wear a location monitoring bracelet in order to live as a "free" man while awaiting trial.

His internet usage and travel have also been severely restricted with Salling having to give up his passport, reports The Guardian. The 33-year-old actor answered several questions from the judge before entering his plea and being assigned a July trial date.

Salling was "charged with two counts of receiving and possessing child abuse material after a grand jury indicted him last week. US Attorney’s spokesman Thom Mrozek said investigators found an extensive, carefully organised collection of child abuse images during searches of Salling’s electronic devices."

Remember: Salling was arrested inside  his home back in December after the LAPD discovered child pornography images and videos and seized a laptop, hard drive and flash drive.

"He was charged with one count of using the internet to obtain a pornographic still image and video of young girls and a second count of possessing two other videos that also featured young girls," The Guardian also reports.

If convicted, Salling could face up to 20 years in prison per charge for a total of 40 years behind bars. To be continued...
