Rachelle Lefevre Still Talking About Getting Fired from Eclipse

Former Twilight saga star Rachelle Lefevre continued to make subtle digs at the series over Twitter.

It seems that Rachelle Lefevre is still feeling the sting (or is it the suck?) from getting fired from Eclipse. The gorgeous redhead was let go from the Twilight saga in the summer (only to be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard), but even though Lefevre has moved on and started booking other acting gigs, she still can’t resist making subtle digs at her former employers.

"Filming thriller The Caller in Puerto Rico [with] Stephen Moyer from True Blood,” Lefevre wrote on Twitter yesterday. “But it's weird -- not a single vampire in the whole movie.”

And then she signed off with an emoticon – a winking emoticon, no less. She’s clearly heartbroken and bitter!

Lefevre played the vampire Victoria in both Twilight and New Moon, but was fired from Eclipse in July due to “scheduling conflicts” with another film, Barney’s Version. The 30-year-old was crushed by the decision, to the point that she didn’t even attend last week’s New Moon premiere.

"2 fans at the premiere," she Tweeted after the premiere, "w/ Honey [her dog] in hospital & being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn't manage it. So sorry."

She should of continue to play her roll.........The studios & fans GREAT LOSSS...........FYI You can bring her back in break of dawn or the possible 5th movie???Then I'll go to see the movie again....Until then TaTa..........

She build & fine tuned Victoria. Shes fierce, stronge & takes control. You don't just find that in any actor! Howard is much older (too old to play Victoria)& these movies are geared for a younger crowd. who do they think there kidding??? Really. I do just fine by reading the books & dI don't have to wait for the movies..........>"<

I really think they are making a mistake with recasting her. A connection was made, with us fans, and replacing her, is wrong, and not the least bit comforting. Rachelle did a marvelous job, and should finish it out. Now one else does it, for us, we are used to that pretty face. No one else can portray Victoria the way Rachelle has. She owns the character, and because of that, makes your argument invalid ;)
