Let’s hope Woody Allen’s sitting down for this news: his muse/creepy obsession Scarlett Johansson is engaged to Ryan Reynolds, a spokesperson confirms.
"They're both thrilled," the actress's rep Marcel Pariseau tells People, just days before Johansson's new album of Tom Waits covers hits stores. Oh, Hollywood! You do love coincidences!
The actress, 23, has been dating the Canadian actor, 31, since last spring. Johansson is expected to show off her new rock at Monday night's Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York, which she’s set to attend.
Reynolds, who was previously engaged to angst rocker Alanis Morissette, may have taken a cue from his latest movie title: he’s currently filming The Proposal alongside Sandra Bullock.
