It’s not often that we get to report on happy couple news, especially when it concerns spouses who have publicly called it quits. But it seems Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn’s differences aren’t as irreconcilable as we first feared. The pair has called off their divorce proceedings.

On Tuesday, the couple -- who has been married 11 years -- requested and were granted a dismissal of the divorce petition Wright Penn filed on Dec. 21. News of the reconciliation began to spread after Extra spotted the pair at an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco on Tuesday night. Vedder, who worked on the soundtrack for Penn’s Into the Wild, invited the actor up on stage, where he dedicated a song to his wife in honour of her birthday.
