In "not cool, dude –- not cool" news, the Nas/Kelis divorce has gotten a whole lot uglier as Nas does not want to pay his pregnant, soon-to-be-ex-wife a penny in alimony or other support.
Kelis, best known for the 2003 hit "Milkshake" (which still gets stuck in our heads every once in a while), filed for divorce from her rapper husband last month citing "irreconcilable differences." In Los Angeles court documents obtained by TMZ, Nas responded by asking the judge to deny Kelis any spousal support and demanding that she pay for all of her own legal bills. This, despite the fact that Kelis is only weeks away from giving birth to Nas' child and is completely unable to work. Classy move, guy.
The hip-hop couple first married secretly at a courthouse in 2003, though they later went public with their union and held a fancier ceremony in 2005. (Kelis wore a lime-green wedding dress which, even years later, is still totally bad-ass.)
