It's usually the country singer who gets cheated on, but there's always an exception to the rule: Us Weekly reports that Leann Rimes has been caught cheating on her husband.
The 26-year-old country star, who has been married to former backup dancer Dean Sheremet since she was 19, was photographed getting cozy with 35-year-old actor Eddie Cibrian, Rimes' costar in Northern Lights, her upcoming Lifetime movie. Us obtained security camera photos of Rimes and Cibrian holding hands and swapping spit on March 7 at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, Calif. The mag also claims that illicit lovers met up for a three-hour "play date" at the Malibu Beach Inn last Saturday.
Cibrian himself is also married and has two sons – and, funnily enough, the actor was last seen playing a cheating husband on Ugly Betty. Maybe he's a method actor?
Rimes took to her official website to address the reports – and she certainly didn't dispute their accuracy.
"This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support," she wrote. "I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white."
Now, if Rimes' truck breaks down and her dog runs away, she'll have enough material for one heck of a country album.
