Tween-friendly pop act The Cheetah Girls are moving ever closer to clinching the ever-elusive 18-34 male demographic. Adrienne Bailon, a.k.a. Cheetah Girl Chanel Simmons, has become the latest Disney starlet at the centre of a nudie photo scandal. Pics of the 25-year-old singer have appeared on the Internet, and now Bailon is preparing to sue, reports TMZ.

The snapshots in question seem to be closer to Vanessa Hudgens than Miley Cyrus on the scandal scale. The semi-nude (read: no pants) pics were  taken as an anniversary present for Bailon's boyfriend -- and brother of reality-TV "star," Kim Kardashian -- Robert Kardashian, claims TMZ. Given that bit of info, we're a little surprised the leaked photos (which feature Bailon looking over her shoulder and exposing her bare butt) aren’t racier.

As for how Bailon became the latest Mouseketeer to sully her family-friendly rep, the pop star's lawyer is saying an anonymous party lifted the images from her laptop, which was stolen from JFK airport late last month.

According to TMZ, this individual shopped the pictures to various media sources before posting them online.

Bailon, apparently, isn't too pleased to know the world has caught her with her pants down and is headed to court. So much for thinking she was trying to pull a Jessica Biel.

"These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or persons sending these private photos out," her lawyer said in a statement to TMZ.

"Adrienne is deeply sorry for any pain this may have caused to her fans."

Bailon's laptop was reported missing in late October. According to TMZ, the same day it went missing from JFK Airport, an anonymous man called her record label, offering to return the computer for a $1,000 US fee. A drop-off was arranged at JFK, but once the laptop was back in Bailon's hands, the pictures were discovered to be missing.
