Hayden Panettiere's breakup with her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia may be getting even worse than their show's storylines. Only a few days after Panettiere exploded at photographers at a charity event, the 19-year-old is reportedly doing her best to get Ventimiglia fired from Heroes so she won't have to see him anymore, reports OK! Magazine.

"She refuses to be on the set at the same time as him," said a mutual friend of the ex-couple. "She is making it difficult for everyone involved."

Ventimiglia, 31, is reportedly refusing to respond to his ex-girlfriend's demands.

"He's not going to play any games or stoop to her level," the source added.

Perhaps the 12-year age gap between them indicates a fundamental different in maturity? (For the record, Panettiere's rep denies the story.)

Since the couple split last month, Panettiere has been spotted with several Hollywood lotharios, some of whom are even more age inappropriate than Ventimiglio – for example, Panettiere was reportedly spotted with 46-year-old Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis and 39-year-old 300 star Gerard Butler. OK, we're actually a little jealous of that last one.
