Nothing says "Happy New Year!" quite like another round of split speculation surrounding Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz. According to Star magazine, the pair spent the holidays with their respective families, possibly signaling an end to their three-year relationship.
The couple, who seemed to be all sunshine and rainbows on Dec. 16 when Diaz introduced Timberlake on Saturday Night Live, enjoyed separate Christmases, with Timberlake joining his family in Tennessee and Diaz skiing with relatives in Vail, Colo., reports Star.
The magazine also reports that Timberlake told friends "the breakup is for keeps," while partying at Senses nightclub in Memphis on Dec. 23.
Timberlake allegedly confirmed the split at the Wednesday night premiere of his new movie, Alpha Dog, says Star freelance reporter John Hiscock, but added, "I can't talk about it," reports the Toronto Star.
Adding fuel to the rumour is E!Online's Planet Gossip's report that Timberlake rang in the New Year with Kate Hudson at a party in her L.A. home.
"They were flirting and talking all night," a source says, adding they retreated upstairs at one point and "when Kate came back, she was wearing a different outfit."
