We've been intrigued by the upcoming film Women in Trouble ever since we caught a glimpse of its retro art-house poster (the clip of Carla Gugino's porn star character talking about her bestselling vagina replica didn't hurt, either). Now a trailer for Sebastian Gutierrez's new comedy has it the Web, and all we can say is: meh.

True, the preview for this SXSW hit about a day in the life of ten seemingly disparate women didn't exactly wow us, but we're still holding out hope that the flick won't suck based on the all-star cast alone (which includes Simon Baker, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marley Shelton, Sarah Clarke, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and Friday Night Light-ers Connie Britton and Adrianne Palicki).  Plus, we're charmed by the clip below of Gugino and Palicki trying to convince guys that this isn't a chick flick ("it's a funny movie that just happens to have hot chicks in it!").
