Celebrities are just like us! When they suffer a sad and painful breakup, they go scurrying back to an ex for comfort just like “normal” losers people. Of course, their exes are usually way more awesome than ours, but still.

Even Madonna, the seemingly untouchable queen of pop music, needs consolation when things go wrong. According to People magazine, Madge has been crying on the shoulder of former husband Sean Penn since her divorce from Guy Ritchie.

A source close to the singer says, “It's a sad situation, but she's not heartbroken. She's handling it well.”

Madonna was spotted having drinks with Penn on Wednesday at the Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan. Before anyone starts flapping about any over-the-borderline shenanigans, the source tells People things are completely platonic between the two exes. "They have a nice rapport," says the source. "There's nothing romantic there. They're just good friends."
