Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Shut Out at Critics’ Choice, Proceed to Hug, Kiss and Grope it Out

January 9, 2009

It's a pity Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's, er, performance, at last night's Critics' Choice Awards couldn't qualify for the voters' consideration.

Neither star left their seat to pick up some hardware, but according to onlookers, they were a little too occupied for acceptance speeches, anyway. According to US Weekly, the pair brought celebrity PDA to a new standard, making goo-goo eyes, kissing, and even rounding into third base ("At one point, Brad had his hand all the way up Angelina's dress!" claimed one of the mag's snoops) -- all while still taking time to make nice with Hollywood folk such as Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke and Christopher "McLovin" Mintz-Plasse. That, sirs, is talent. Perhaps the couple can still make it under the wire for the Adult Entertainment Awards.

The kisses didn't seem to make Jolie feel better (or less bitch-faced), however, when the best actress trophy slipped from her grasp. Hey, maybe Brad's perv-stache just glanced her cornea, but Jolie appeared to be giving an icy stink-eye to winner, Anne Hathaway, when the Rachel Getting Married actress launched into her shaky acceptance speech. Watch for yourself.
