Remember that crazy thing Tom Cruise did? (No, not that. Not that, either.) We're talking about that infamous leaked Scientology video in which Cruise let us in on the secret of his super-crazy superpowers: "When you're a Scientologist, and you drive by an accident," said Cruise, "you know you have to do something about it, because you know you're the only one who can really help."

Well, it seems like us, Cruise must think of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's (not legally binding in the U.S.) love as a certain kind of car wreck, because he’s offering Pratt some assistance with his married life.

Cruise appeared in a pre-taped interview on last night's The Hills After-Show. And while the star had plenty of coaching before lending his advice -- including a visual aid of TV's foremost flesh-bearded villain courtesy of the MTV Canada VJs -- Cruise did say that Pratt made a big mistake eloping with Montag, reminding Pratt of Montag's long-time dream of a big family wedding.

"If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta do the wedding," Cruise said. "It's a special occasion, and she'll remember it forever. Spencer... dude... you'll realize this later."

Pratt, naturally, promptly took advantage of Cruise's soundbite for some added publicity. The Hills villain contacted Us Weekly to offer Cruise a spot in one of his and Montag's upcoming photo ops.

"You all know how I feel about big weddings, but if Tom Cruise says so, it must be true. If Tom's the best man, we'll have a big wedding," said Pratt.
