Kanye West may need a hug. The rapper's "favourite white girl" Scarlett Johansson quietly wed Ryan Reynolds in an intimate ceremony this weekend, reports People.

The DNA-blessed pair tied the knot in Reynolds' home and native land, his publicist confirmed. According to Us Weekly, the wedding took place Saturday evening at a remote wilderness resort outside Vancouver.

The couple, who got engaged in May, hooked up shortly after Reynolds split from fellow Canadian Alanis Morissette and Johansson parted ways with longtime boyfriend Josh Hartnett.

This is the first marriage for both the raspy-voiced actress (who Esquire once named the Sexiest Woman Alive), and the cut Canuck (who isn't so bad looking himself). News that the pretty pair is hitched is sure to break lots of fans' hearts. Which reminds us: someone should check on Woody Allen.
