In "don't flaunt your relationship in the press if you don't want to break up" news, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have split up after nearly a year of dating.
"I can confirm the split with no additional comment," a spokesperson for Barrymore told People, although a source close to the actress told Us Weekly that the two are still friends.
The Charlie's Angels star, 33, began dating Long, 30, in August 2007 and immediately began grossing us out by being photographed countless times shoving their tongues down each others' throats. They further triggered our gag reflexes by constantly talking about how in luuuurve they were.
“My cheeks hurt, I'm so happy," said Barrymore in the March 2008 issue of Vogue, while Long described the actress as "the most compassionate person I've ever met" on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
In related and eerily appropriate news, both Barrymore and Long will appear in He's Just Not That Into You, due in theatres in early 2009.
