The Office's Angela Kinsey Gives Birth. Dwight Will Be Crushed!

May 6, 2008

First she dated Dwight and then Andy, but now The Office's Angela has given birth to yet another man's child. She really gets around, huh?

OK, so it was the real-life Angela Kinsey who had a baby. Kinsey, 36, gave birth to daughter Isabel Ruby Lieberstein on May 3, reports People. Weighing 6 lbs., 14 oz., Isabel is the first child for both Kinsey and her husband, TV writer Warren Lieberstein. Jenna Fischer, Kinsey's Office costar, was also at the hospital to welcome the bundle of joy.

"Mom and baby are doing great!" said Tess Finkle, Kinsey's rep.

Kinsey announced her pregnancy on her MySpace blog last November. Instead of trying to include it in the show, Office producers had been hiding Kinsey's baby bump behind desks, file folders and bulky coats for the last several episodes. It was probably a good move for The Office as a whole, but come on, how great would it have been to see her uptight, conservative character try to explain her pregnancy to Andy and Dwight? She'd probably deny that she was having a baby at all.
