Nicole Richie has officially squashed any lingering suspicions that those recent belly bump sightings are merely the result of an undigested burrito -- she's finally confirmed her pregnancy.
"Yes I am. We are. I'm almost four months," Richie tells ABC News' Diane Sawyer in an interview set to air on Good Morning America tomorrow (Aug 2) and 20/20 on Friday.
According to an ABC press release, Richie "speaks candidly about why this particular constellation of young female stars -- Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, among others -- have behaved badly so publicly." If anyone should know, it's the Vicodin-popping, wrong-way-driving, Paris Hilton-feuding reality starlet.
With her boyfriend/sperminator, Good Charlotte greaser Joel Madden, by her side, the 25-year-old stick figure also opens up about her DUI arrest last December, for which she recently accepted a plea bargain that will see her serve four days in jail, enroll in an alcohol education program, pay a $2,048 US fine and spend three years on probation.
"I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would," Richie tells Sawyer. "And unfortunately I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult."
