Is Paris Hilton's charmed life about to come to a screeching halt? The blonde bobblehead faces a maximum sentence of 90 days in jail after violating the terms of her probation by driving without a license, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
The investigation into whether Hilton violated her probation stems from an incident on Feb. 27, when she was stopped for speeding down Sunset Boulevard without her headlines on. The officers who pulled her over impounded her 2007 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible upon discovering her license had been suspended.
In January, the walking, talking blow-up doll pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving following her DUI arrest last September, and was ordered to pay a fine and placed on probation.
City Attorney's Office spokesperson Nick Velasquez said on Thursday, "We have sufficient evidence to prove that Hilton had knowledge of the suspension, and yet continued to drive."
A hearing has been set for April 17. No word on whether producers of her reality TV show are hastily cobbling together storyboards for The Simple Life 6: Pass the Soap.
