Tired of Being in Big Sis's Skanky Shadow, Jaime Lynn Spears Gets Herself Knocked Up

Christmas has come early at the Spears' trailer park, y'all! Britney's 16-year-old sister, Jamie Lynn, is getting ready to squeeze out a kid.

The star of Nickelodeon's squeaky-clean kids show, Zoey 101, confirmed the news to OK! magazine yesterday (Dec. 18), telling them that's she's 12 weeks along. The sperm donor is longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge, a 19-year-old student.

"It was a shock for both of us," the youngest Spears told the mag, adding that she'd like to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana "so it can have a normal family life." (Yes, we all know how well that worked out for her and her sister!)

The young star's bosses at Nickelodeon released a statement last night, saying "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

Jamie Lynn told the mag she waited two weeks before telling anyone – including her parents.

"I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."

One person who didn't get the family memo appears to be Britney Spears. A source close to the troubled pop tard tells People.com, "This is going to kill her. In the end, she'll be supportive, but this is a big shock."

Offering a glimpse of how her daughters ended up becoming such toxic trainwrecks, mother Lynne Spears told OK! "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew." (Because everyone knows afternoon sex doesn't count!)

Despite K-Fed's surprising lack of participation in this particular Spears insemination, we're still hoping for the baby's sake that he'll petition for custody.
