Jennifer Aniston Avoids Brad Pitt At TIFF

September 8, 2008

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are keeping all the juicy drama onscreen by keeping their distance at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The 39-year-old actress chose to stay downtown, about 3 kilometres away from the hotel where her ex-hubby is staying while in town, reports US Weekly

While both stars debuted films at the festival – his new Coen Brothers’ comedy Burn After Reading premiered on Friday, and her Management debuted on Sunday – there were no awkward run-ins for the exes, who divorced in 2005.

Avoiding Pitt is probably a smart move for Aniston, who told People that “things couldn’t be better.”

The actress, who recently split from John Mayer, said at her film’s premiere that she was “busy, but it’s great.”

And when asked where she finds her inner strength, she told reporters, “waking up everyday.”

Her Management director, Stephen Belber, only had kind things to say about Aniston at the film’s premiere. “She has great strength, and I never heard her complain. Not once.” He said, reports People. “There was never a sign of, ‘Oh, poor Jen’ She has a positive outlook on things. She is the most upbeat, thoughtful, and sincere person.’

Wearing a sleeveless black Balenciaga dress at the film’s premiere, the actress was met with throngs of adoring fans.

“It’s great to see people come out and support the film,” she told People of all the attention.
