Denise Richards can't catch a break. It turns out that the public is less than interested in the banal escapades of a B-list actress, her vapid assistants and her children.
The Insider and the New York Post reported Tuesday that E! has pulled the plug on Richard’s reality show It’s Complicated.
“The numbers started out pretty good-just over 1.5 million tuned in for the premiere episode,” a source told The Insider. “But the audience has dropped off.”
However, E! released a statement on Wednesday dispelling the reports, saying "The show has not been cancelled. It performs well for us. Decisions are still being made on a second season."
The rumors come at the same time as news that Richard’s ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, and his new wife, Brooke, are expecting their first child together -- likely a sad announcement for Richards, who lost most of those 1.5 million viewers whining about how she has been sad, dateless, and alone since her split from Sheen.
