Taylor Swift may be enjoying some hot girl-on-werewolf action with rumoured beau Taylor Lautner, but the cherubic country singer isn't stupid enough to admit it to the world – not unless she wants to receive an even bigger pile of hate mail than she did when she held hands with Joe Jonas for two minutes. In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing today), Swift was wise enough to keep her comments about her New Moon hunk short and noncommittal.

DeGeneres, naturally, couldn't help teasing Swift, who met Lautner when they were filming scenes together for the romantic comedy Valentine's Day.

"The guy from Twilight?" DeGeneres asked. "Oh, yeah, he's cute."

Answered Swift: "Yeah, he is."

DeGeneres then revealed a photo of the two kissing, which Swift insisted was part of their movie. However, the talk show host then asked about the hockey game the Taylors went to together last Sunday.

"I really like hockey a lot and it turns out so does he," was all Swift would say.

(Yeah – tonsil hockey! Whoo!)

Taylor Squared have been spending quite a lot of time together recently; in addition to Sunday's hockey game, they dined with Swift's mom on Monday and even went shopping together on Wednesday before going for a nice steak dinner, reports People. Oh, Taylor Swift, we'd hate you if you weren't so sweet that woodland creatures help you get dressed every morning.
