Heidi Montag finally has government documents to prove what we've always known: she is a complete and utter Pratt. Following her marriage to Spencer Pratt last month, the Barbie-esque Hills star announced that she has officially changed her last name to match her husband's.
"When we filled out the marriage license, I checked the box to change my name to Heidi Pratt," Montag Pratt told Us Weekly. "It's on my new license, credit cards and everything."
(Someone let her have credit cards? But now she's under the delusion that she's a grownup!)
"Now that we're legally married, I wanted to do the right thing," the 22-year-old added, apparently under the impression that women who keep their maiden names after marriage are doing something wrong. "I want us to be a family in every way. When we have kids, I want us to all have the same last name."
Sadly – for everyone! – the world has not seen the last of Heidi Montag, as least as far as her "music" "career" is concerned.
"Just like everything else, I'm gonna wing it," said the blonde. "When I did my album, it was still pre-wedding, so I may still be Heidi Montag there."
In fact, she just unleashed yet another music video under her original name. Much like the endlessly ridiculed video for "Higher," "Blackout" features Montag/Pratt writhing around on the beach in a bikini and making weird gestures with her abnormally large hands. You're welcome, world. (See the hilariously awful video below.)
