Aaron Carter is planning to get married — as long as it doesn't conflict with his naptime. The practically prepubescent singer proposed to his girlfriend, Kari Ann Peniche, on stage at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Sunday night, reports People magazine.

Carter, 18, got down on one knee in front of a live audience to pop the question to Peniche, 22. His new fiancé was named Miss United States Teen in 2003 but was later striped of the crown after posing nude for Playboy.

It's a wonder Carter is rushing down the alter given his parent's history: mom Jane and dad Bob divorced in 2003, shortly before the pop singer filed for legal emancipation after accusing his mother of stealing millions from him.
