They grow up so fast, don't they? Former pre-teen pop sensation Aaron Carter was arrested yesterday for marijuana possession, reports TMZ. The 20-year-old was pulled over for speeding in Kimble County, Texas and when authorities searched his car, they reportedly found a big stash of pot. Carter is being held in jail until his arraignment later today.
This is yet another twist in the roller coaster that is Aaron Carter's life. He entered the music business before he was even ten years old, opening for older brother Nick's group, the Backstreet Boys. He filed for legal emancipation from his mother in 2003, claiming that she had stolen millions of dollars from him, though they eventually reconciled.
Carter also has the distinction of being the cause of the notorious feud between Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff. Really, girls? You fought over him? To be fair, Carter is far more appealing than some of the other losers Duff and Lohan have dated. Joel Madden and Wilmer Valderrama, anyone?
