On-again/off-again couple Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler have decided not to stay together for the sake of the kids. For a second time. (Or is this the third? Ninth? We just can't keep up.)

Things got dramatic after a "nasty fight" broke out Tuesday night at the couple's mansion – that giant home seen on their MTV reality show – and the cops were called, reports Us Weekly.

"Shanna started freaking out and acting irrational," a source told Us Weekly. "Travis confronted Shanna about her having an affair with Gerard Butler, while he was in the hospital recovering [from last fall's plane crash]." (Moakler's rep denies the allegation.)

It was that fatal plane crash, which claimed the lives of four while both Barker and DJ AM survived, that reunited the couple after their 2006 divorce. But things just didn't blend, according to their respective publicists, who confirmed the split to Us Weekly.

Barker's rep told Us: "After surviving the plane crash his driving force in life is the love he has for his kids. He is tired of all other drama and is ready to move on."

Moakler's rep denied the former beauty queen's philandering, stating, "They did break up but Shanna never cheated on Travis while he was in the hospital. Furthermore, Shanna is tired of playing out their personal relationship in the press." (Especially when you can play it out over your public MySpace blogs instead!)

The Meet the Barkers stars have two children together – Landon Asher and Alabama Luella – while Moakler also has a daughter, Atiana Cecilia, with ex-boyfriend Oscar de la Hoya.

"It's over now and he just wants to move on," the insider said of Barker.

Did we just time-warp back to 2002? Barker is back recording with Blink 182 and Moakler is (once again) out of the picture.
