Jon Gosselin has barely had time to get to know his new girlfriend (let alone warn her to take down those compromising Facebook pics), but the tabloids are already having a field day about the new couple's future.

InTouch Weekly is even going so far as to suggest Gosselin and 22-year-old Hailey Glassman are discussing the 'M' word. (No, not multiples.) Marriage.

According to the tab's unnamed (aren't they always?) source, the reality TV dad has already suggested getting hitched in Vegas and has presented his young girlfriend with a $180K ring in the shape of a skull with four black diamonds. Classy.

But Gosselin is denying the engagement rumours in People's new cover story, telling the mag, "No. We're just having a cool time and enjoying each other."

He also tries to explain why he chose to be a jerkface and go public with his relationship during a much-photographed vacation in France, a mere 20 days after filing for divorce from wife Kate.

"I know that my decision to appear publicly with Hailey this weekend will be scrutinized, but I hope that people can see I'm a regular guy who is going through a very difficult time in [my] life and wants to move forward," Gosselin told People.

He added: "I genuinely enjoy spending time with her. It's nice to be with someone who I can confide in and trust and who accepts me for who I am." (Burn!)

Gosselin was confronted by photographers at JFK airport on Tuesday as he returned from his St. Tropez vacation, reports Us Weekly. When asked why he was flying solo, the 32-year-old told the paps that Glassman remained in France but he "had to come back" to film his reality show. He added that he's "not allowed" to discuss the relationship, saying "I don't want to get in trouble." (People magazine cover stories are obviously the exception.)
