It's two-for-one day in the celebrity hissy fit news department: both Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were reportedly caught laying the smackdown on photographers this weekend.

In Lohan's case, TMZ spotted her punching a pap while on her way in to NYC's Bowery Hotel Sunday night. And while we admire LiLo's Olympic-calibre party endurance (she hosted a stuffed-with-douchebags-to-capacity TIFF bash in Toronto the night before), the party-girl lifestyle must leave her with a serious case of the grumpies.

According to TMZ, Lohan tripped while passing a barricade and blamed it on a paparazzo. as per video of the incident posted on the site, she then appeared to reach out and punch the cameraman. "Oh my God, I just hit a paparazzi," Lohan muttered into her cellphone as she was quickly whisked into the club. The cops were called, but no charges were laid.

Fellow celebutard Nicole Richie also seems to have gotten away with her own public snit, but in her case, there weren't any pesky paps to speak of, just a young kid hoping to get a Facebook-ready souvenir of the C-lister.

Richie was outside of a New York afterparty for designer (and Sam Ronson's twin), Charlotte Ronson, when "a young, Swedish tourist was trying to take her photo." According to a witness' account to the New York Post's Page Six, Richie flipped out, shouting "I'm not an animal" before she "jumped over the velvet rope, ripped the camera out of the girl's hand and smashed it to the ground."

Girls, girls -- I know we all want to be like Kanye West, but next weekend can you just go out and buy a pair of those dumb plastic shades and hire a few interns to blog pictures of iPods, instead?
