Sarah Jessica Parker has us seeing double with the first official photo of her new twin girls. Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick released the pic, taken in their New York home, on Tuesday.

In the family portrait, Parker cradles Marion Loretta Elwell and Broderick holds Tabitha Hodge while big brother James Wilkie, 6, peers on.

By releasing an official family portrait, the couple has effectively quashed a potential tabloid bidding war for photos of the new twins, who were born to a surrogate mother in Ohio on June 22. This isn't the first time Parker has proven she's just as savvy with the paparazzi as she is with her wardrobe choices. When James Wilkie was born in 2002, Parker and Broderick posed with him outside of the hospital shortly after his birth, satisfying the media's curiosity about the newborn.

The new twins are undeniably cute, but is anyone else just a tad disappointed in their outfits? We were expecting the Sex and the City actress to prep her new arrivals for their global debut by outfitting them in custom-made Manolo booties and tiny Louis Vuitton fanny packs, at the very least. Simple pink blankets? Carrie Bradshaw would not approve.
