Lindsay Lohan Acts Like A Diva on Ugly Betty Set; Marc and Amanda Take Notes

October 23, 2008

Thing have gotten ugly on the Ugly Betty set, so much so, that Lindsay Lohan's six-episode stint was reduced to four episodes after she reportedly locked horns with series star America Ferrera.

A source tells the New York Post's Page Six, "It was a mess. Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people. She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess."

In addition, Lohan "would obsessively cut pictures of herself out of the tabloids like she was creating some sort of scrapbook and refused to go on set until America was there - it was a power play."

But it wasn't just Lohan's diva 'tude that got her booted from Betty. According to the Page Six source, the final straw came when she flashed the crew during rehearsals. Lohan and Ferrera were going over a scene in which Ferrera's character "pantses" Lohan's Kimmie character, only to discover that Lohan wasn't wearing any underwear.

Not so, claims a source from Lohan's camp, who tells Page Six, "Bullsh*t! Lindsay wears underwear all the time now. She was wearing a G-string. And it was America's fault. They were rehearsing the scene and America wasn't supposed to pull Lindsay's pants down - but she did. Lindsay was so embarrassed, she started crying."

Whether or not Lohan intentionally gave the Ugly Betty crew a glimpse of how she got her "Firecrotch" nickname, it appears producers were unhappy with her performance. An insider tells E! News' Kristin Dos Santos, "She was not so interested in creating a character. She was more interested in just playing herself, and that doesn't work on a show like this with such heightened reality."

Lohan's rep is blowing off the incident, telling Page Six, "Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time."

Poor Lohan. After blowing her millionth comeback attempt, the only fan she has left is that guy who accidentally rented Georgia Rule and made it through the first ten minutes before realizing it wasn't a documentary about Atlanta's criminal code. Stay strong, random dude! Linds needs you now more than ever!
