Lindsay Lohan Stalker Strikes, Well, More Like Lunges, Again

December 17, 2008

Despite not having a hit movie for, well, ever, and slipping into full-time girlfriend mode, Lindsay Lohan can still count on at least one crazed fan to make her feel like a star.

A man who has stalked the actress in the past was arrested in Scottsdale, Ariz., Wednesday morning, after he lunged aggressively toward Lohan and galpal Samantha Ronson, E! News reports.

The couple were leaving Scottsdale club the Jackrabbit Lounge at approximately 1:30 a.m. after one of Ronson’s DJ gigs, when the unidentified man dove for Lohan.

"The gentleman became very excited when he realized he was so close to Samantha and he has a history of being a stalker with Lindsay Lohan so he immediately attacked her and started yelling 'I love her, I love her,' " the club's owner, Dan Wierck, told a local TV station.

As Lohan and Ronson were ushered away, bodyguards and police officers tackled the man, detaining him. The police have yet to reveal the man’s identity or confirm whether charges will be pressed—though E! reports he was initially arrested for disorderly conduct.

The man was reportedly released after a few hours in custody.
