All the money in the world can't buy happiness – or even a maid service, if you're Lindsay Lohan.
The Associated Press reports that Los Angeles police responded to a call at Lohan's house yesterday afternoon after the 22-year-old star's alarm was set off. Officers expected to find burglars or some overzealous fans trespassing, but instead, they just found Lohan's home ransacked – or so they thought. Turns out that the usual state of the actress' house is a reflection of her inner self: messy and kind of gross.
The house was in such a state of disarray, said Los Angeles police officer Karen Rayner, that some of those at the scene asked, "Is it normally like this, or did the intruders do it?"
Police eventually figured out that the alarm was tripped by accident, as nothing was stolen and Lohan wasn't even home. But LiLo better take care of herself, or soon we'll be seeing her on one of those creepy TLC specials about people who hoard stacks of newspapers and milk cartons all over their house.
