Lindsay Lohan vs. Paris Hilton: It's On!

November 30, 2006

It's stories like these that give our celebrity-obsessed asses a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Britney Spears has replaced Lindsay Lohan as Paris Hilton's best friend, and Linds is none too happy about it.

Spears and Hilton continued their love-in this weekend, partying at Les Deux with Hilton's sister, Nicky, on Friday night, taking Spears's son Sean Preston shopping in Malibu on Saturday afternoon and hitting L.A. hotspot Hyde with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen later that evening.

But Lohan seems to be feeling a bit left out of the clique, and is retaliating by taking cues straight out of her Mean Girls script. The starlet, who often complains about being hounded by the paparazzi, appeared glum when photographers bailed on snapping photos of her shopping at Planet Blue in Malibu upon learning that Hilton and Spears had arrived, reports photo agency X17.

But it was at a house party on Friday night where things got downright nasty. Splash News cameras caught Lohan storming out of the party, where she loudly announced to the throngs of paparazzi, "Paris Hilton is crazy!" When questioned about her comment, the always-lucid Linds ranted, "I don't know. If I knew, then I would know, but I don't know."

Before leaving, Lohan told photographers, "She just threw her drink on me, and elbowed me ... There's no reason." She then pretended that she forgot something and asking to be let back into the house. Once on the other side of the gate, the actress began yelling "C*nt! Cokehead!" She then turned her wrath to the burly security guard who removed her from the premises, telling him, "Don't ever grab me like that again."

But the drama didn't stop there. The next day, the supposedly camera-shy actress approached an X17 cameraman to give a statement. Lifting up her sleeve to reveal a non-visible "bruise," Linds ranted, "This is a video that Paris Hilton, and I'm saying this on tape, she hit me last night for no reason apparently, at my friend's house and I didn't know she'd be there, and she hit me and she hit me with a drink and poured it all over me. And it hurts and it's not OK. And I'm sorry for everyone that thinks I'm crazy. I'm not; I'm just trying to act."

Hilton's spokesperson, Elliot Mintz, denied Lohan's claims, telling X17, "At no time did Paris ever throw anything at Lindsay; at no time did Paris ever hit her, assault her, touch her, have any physical contact with her."

He added, "I believe that a drink was thrown at Paris. I believe that harsh words were exchanged. But in recent days and recent weeks, you will note that Lindsay has said some very disturbing and very unpleasant things about Paris. [It's] without foundation, without truth, it's offensive to Paris and it might even be defamatory, and this must stop."

We can't wait to see how this one will turn out, but one thing's for sure: it's ON!
