Hollywood may be swimming in a sea of bulging bellies (Nicole's, Halle's, J. Lo's, Jessica's, Christina's, Cate's, the other Nicole's) but it looks like the baby boom hasn’t made its way to the Great White North just yet.
Canuck cuties Avril Lavigne and Pamela Anderson are both denying rampant rumours they're knocked up. Today (Jan. 10), Lavigne's record label told Us Weekly "It's not true" in response to Canadian radio host Zack Taylor's announcement that "Avril is a month-and-a-half pregnant and that her husband, Deryck Whibley has been telling all his friends that he's excited to be a father."
Pamela Anderson's denial was equally succinct. The buxom blond posted a rapid rebuttal on her official website this morning, responding to pregnancy reports with a one-word entry: "no."
In other baby news, Joel Madden's older brother, Josh, told reporters at Wednesday night's FUZE/Resolution Slenderize party in Hollywood that Nicole Richie is due to pop next week, while Katie Holmes bestowed her blessing on Nicole Kidman's fetus.
"I'm so happy for her," Holmes gushed to People magazine at Wednesday night's premiere of Mad Money. "It's wonderful."
We're sure Kidman is thrilled to finally merit a stamp of approval from her ex-husband's new Stepford wife.
