The past few weeks have been dark times here at the Dose.ca offices. Upon hearing rumours that Denise Richards' reality show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated, was cancelled, we sunk into a deep depression, worried about where we'd possibly get our next fix of delusional, C-list angst. Sure, Dina Lohan's reality show is still going strong, but without its low-rated, even-less-relevant lead-in, it can't possibly be expected to fill what was once TV's finest hour of famewhoring and bad parenting.
But there may be good news for those of us addicted to watching Richards get naked for impromptu spray tanning sessions and initiate squirmingly awkward conversations with her young nephew about her Playboy past. The "actress" told Us Weekly that, despite reports to the contrary, her show has been renewed.
"It's coming back for another season," Richards told the mag at the Panasonic Lounge in L.A. on Tuesday. "We start filming in a few months."
Richards also pooh-poohed ex Charlie Sheen's objections to including their two young daughters -- Sam, 4, and Lola, 2 -- on the reality show.
"[The cameras] weren't there 24/7, we definitely have set hours," Richard told Us. "They have been around this since they were born so they were just happy momma was home working."
Really, Denise? Since they were born? Your career fizzled out long before your oldest daughter came along, so unless you're talking about the Sears Portrait Studio, we can't possible imagine what other cameras the girls have been exposed to.
