Chris Brown Under Investigation for Felony Battery

Rihanna might not be inviting Chris Brown back under her umbrella anytime soon. Her singer boyfriend was arrested and charged with making criminal threats against an unidentified woman some are speculating was Rihanna.

According to the L.A.P.D, officers responded to a 911 call at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning following an altercation between Brown and a woman in a limousine after Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills, reports People. A woman at the scene suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her assailant.

Rihanna and Brown reportedly attended Davis’ Grammy party together earlier that night, though there is no confirmation that she is the unidentified woman in question.

"The identity of the victim will not be released," said Officer April Harding, reports People. "Any victim who's involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality."

Brown and Rihanna both pulled out of Sunday night's Grammy ceremony at the last minute. Both singers were scheduled to perform and were nominated for awards.

The 19-year-old singer turned himself into police on Sunday night and was officially booked at 7:41 p.m. ET, reports People. He posted the $50,000 US bail and was released.

E! News is citing sources who claim the alleged victim was Rihanna and that she was hospitalized following the incident, though her reps have not confirmed this. In a statement, her spokesperson said, "Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support.”
