Paris Hilton's Little Brother Busted for DUI

February 12, 2008

It seems stupidity runs in the family. Paris Hilton's younger brother, Barron, has followed in his big sis' footsteps by getting busted for DUI in Malibu early this morning.

The arrest, first reported by TMZ.com, took place at the oh-so-classy hour of 8:30 a.m. (hey, it was 5 o'clock somewhere!). The 18-year-old was busted after allegedly "bumping into" an employee with his black Mercedes at a 76 gas station along the Pacific Coast Highway. (The employee is reportedly unhurt.) He was booked at the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station and is being held on $5,000 US bail.

L. A. County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Hilton's blood-alcohol level was .14 per cent, nearly twice California's legal limit for people over 21.

TMZ.com is reporting that in addition to a misdemeanor DUI charge, Hilton was also charged with carrying a false California driver's license.

Barron's father Rick Hilton said in a statement: "I haven't been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say – but it will be to my son, not the media."

Congratulations, Barron. It took you a while, but you have finally managed to shrug off the heavy title of Only Normal Hilton Left. Your skeevy relatives are no doubt hurrying to the sheriff's office as we speak, ready to welcome you into their soul-crushing, publicity-whoring embrace. We anxiously await your inevitable reality show.
