We knew there had to be a reason why our irrational love for Jack Black persisted, despite his increasingly horrific film choices and unfortunate hair. Now it’s all becoming clear: the lovable comedian forced Angelina Jolie to confirm Hollywood’s worst kept secret -- she’s having twins.
In a joint interview from Cannes with the Today Show to promote their new film, Kung Fu Panda, Black cracked to his curvy co-star, “You’re gonna have as many as (the) Brady Bunch when you have these.”
Interviewer Natalie Morales jumped in, asking “It’s confirmed? Is it two?”
“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Jolie responded with a smile. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.”
“Is that true?” Black asked, mortified.
“Yeah, you did,” Jolie told him with a laugh, as he muttered “Oh no, sorry.” (Watch the interview here.)
Black wasn't the only costar to spill breaking baby news. In a separate interview, Morales says Dustin Hoffman revealed Jolie's due date is Aug. 19.
Unfortunately, her costars' mad detective skills couldn’t uncover the sex of the luckiest twins in history.
“We would like to keep that private,” Jolie demurred, adding that there’s a possibility she’ll stay in France to give birth.
