We all know Edward Cullen sucks, but does he stink?
It seems some of New Moon star Robert Pattinson's co-workers have taken at-work passive aggression to a new level. Instead of just leaving baskets of soap and Altoids in his trailer, some members of the crew told E! News that the vampire pin-up -- believed by millions to smell like lavender, sparkles and dreams-come-true -- is just plain smelly.
"He stinks. I mean, it's awful," an onset squealer says. "He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy."
Crazy in love, you mean, on the scent of his natural musk?
Apparently not. Another source from the New Moon crew tells E! News: "He completely reeks."
Photos of Pattinson, even back in his Harry Potter days, would suggest he's the kind of dude who considers filth just nature's way of helping him save money on hair gel. However, seeing as our photo libraries aren't yet equipped with scratch-and-sniff technologies, we're not 100 per cent sold on these "stinko" claims.
Luckily, we have an in-house source, Dose.ca Managing Editor Jen McDonnell.
During her interview with the Twilight star, McDonnell spent whole tens of minutes in so-close-she-risked-being-dazzled proximity to Pattinson. "I wasn't in complete control of my senses at the time," she admits. Nevertheless, she found Pattinson's scent completely work appropriate -- if not a little swoon-worthy.
"Up close and personal, I thought he smelled of unicorns and promises," she says, "which was surprising since his hair looked like it had enough grease in it to power a McDonald’s restaurant for a week.
"But it was 'sexy' grease."
