There's nothing like a fiery accident to fan the flames of romance. Just weeks after surviving a terrifying plane crash that killed four others and left him with second and third degree burns, DJ AM has reconciled with ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore, according to Us Weekly.

The pair, who were photographed together at the Friendly House 19th Annual Awards Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Oct. 18, dated for a couple of months last year before amicably parting ways.

Immediately following the Sept. 19 plane crash, Moore hopped on a plane to be at DJ AM's side at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga. And now, it seems her concern for her ex may have blossomed into something more.

"It's back on," the source tells Us Weekly. "Mandy said, 'I like this guy a lot and I want to see where it can go again. Life is too short to not be with someone you really care about.'"

Another source close to DJ AM tells the mag, "When you go through what Adam went through, you need people you love and people who love you. He will never stop loving her."
